The UCU Business School Family Business Center was founded in 2012. In the process of work we were lucky to meet a lot of incredible family companies. Their stories are often inspiring, compelling to see something more than just business, because every time it is about values - about caring for the development of their families, teams, communities, countries, it is, without exaggeration, about charisma, magnetism and atmosphere of trust.

It is the presence of values that motivated us to work more closely with representatives of family companies and at the same time to analyze their daily challenges. And every challenge is a good opportunity to research and find a solution, through qualitative expertise and setting precedents.

Therefore, today we focus on analyzing the challenges in managing family companies, through meetings with international experts (international conferences in 2013 and 2019), business owners both in Ukraine (constant communication with business school students) and abroad (study trip to Germany in 2019), as well as in the frames of in-depth research.

For many years he was a partner at Ernst & Young, the auditing and consulting company in Switzerland, a member of the advisory and supervisory boards of world-known companies. A co-founder of BLR & Partners consulting company.

Andriy Kostyuk

President of the Nexia Ukraine. Member of Lviv Bar Association. Lecturer at the Department of Philosophy of the Ukrainian Catholic University and the Lviv Business School of UCU.
